Health & Wellness

Health & Wellness

Helping seniors maximize their physical and intellectual abilities is one of the foundations of life at Hancock Village. Our team members provide a fun, holistic and stimulating exercise experience. The classes incorporate a variety of activities from walks in the neighborhood to swimming at the YMCA to relaxation groups and games and exercises designed to stimulate the brain.

Residents benefit from the expertise of our team members, nurses, therapists and gerontological nutritionist to learn about health and wellness topics of interest.

Innovative Technology

Hancock Village is committed to providing innovative technology for our seniors to help them remain as physically and mentally strong as possible.  The intuitive design of the It’s Never 2 Late (IN2L) program incorporates user-friendly technology that allows everyone to engage in activities adapted to each resident’s unique abilities and interests. Using a person-centered approach, the IN2L program increases cognition stimulation, improves communication and increases intergenerational connections and communication for residents, families and the care team. Backed by research, the IN2L is effective in helping seniors maintain and improve their quality of life. http://in2l.com/
